Fi Asia 2019 (Food Ingredients Asia), one of the leading food and beverage platforms to connect suppliers and buyers was held at Bangkok, Thailand from 11 – 13 September 2019. For the first time this year, four business units of Lesaffre Asia Pacific came together to present a joint-solution on food ingredient focusing the theme on naturalness, health and wellness, sensorial experience, and convenience.
The four business units represented Lesaffre in Fi Asia 2019 were Lesaffre Yeast and Baking Solutions, Biospringer, Gnosis and Procelys. The main highlight would be the joint-concept recipe from the business units which was presented for the first time from Lesaffre. The objective is to present a holistic solution to food industry professionals that inspire innovation and creativity.
Four recipes combining ingredients from business units of Lesaffre were spicy chicken floss bun, oh-so divine chocolate croissant, savoury dippers with cheddar sauce, and flaming tuna toast. Lesaffre Magimix® Softness, Biospringer® Signature Cheese, Gnosis VitaMK7®, Lesaffre Sensations® Mix are some of the ingredients that are fused together to create these recipes.
The three days event received more than 20k visitors from 72 countries and it provides an excellent platform for Lesaffre to present its solutions as well as making its mark in the food and beverage industry. Next year, Fi Asia will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia and Lesaffre will made its appearance there. See you in Fi Asia 2020!
