With one of Lesaffre’s commitments to sharing and promoting good practices, Lesaffre Asia Pacific partnered with Bayon School Cambodia to provide a two days baking program for students in the school. The training program was held on 18 and 19 March 2019, 22 students were trained on theory of basic breadmaking and were given hands-on training baking new bread recipes such as Foccacia, Ciabbatta and French Baguette. The training was led by Charlie Lambert, Sales Manager and Huy Mai Duc, Baker of Saf Viet from Vietnam.

 

 

Bayon School is a non-profit organization aim to provide education to the underprivilege children and youth in Cambodia. With the school’s plan to expand their training area for baking, Lesaffre is looking to further develop baking training program with the school to train and educate the next generation of bakers.
