No Rehydrating Required

Our SAF-INSTANT™ yeast is extruded in tiny particles that can be directly mixed into the dough.. Due to its small size, it does not need to be rehydrated in water prior to using, saving you an extra step when you bake.

Unlike active dry yeast, you can combine our instant yeast directly with dry ingredients when forming a dough. Every time you use SAF-INSTANT™, you are simplifying your baking process and guaranteeing more consistent results.

SAF-INSTANT™ Red is a premium instant dry yeast product created with bakers in mind.

Derived from selected yeast strains and specific industrial processes, our product reduces the dough proofing time compared to active dry yeast while ensuring the full development of complex flavours obtained from yeast fermentation.

So whether you are an artisanal pastry chef or a home baker, you can be assured of quality with SAF-INSTANT™ Red.

SAF-INSTANT™ Red is best used for low-sugar doughs containing 0% to 5% sugar by weight of flour. Ideal uses include pizza dough, bagels and traditional French bakes like baguettes.

Storage Instructions

Always store the product in a cool, dry place, away from heat. Refrigeration is not required for unopened products.

Once opened, the product must be used within 48 hours. If required, extend the shelf life of an opened product by up to 8 days by sealing it and storing it in the fridge.
